WE WERE ALL GOOD THEN
WE ARE ALL GOOD NOW
We were All Good Then
After the passing of Jerry Garcia and touring with the Grateful Dead, we found ourselves following our hearts in search of the music, the scene and the community we had grown to love. As Walther Productions and as a fan, I attended multiple campout events at Wilmer’s Park in Brandywine, MD and was inspired to launch the All Good Music Festival & Campout there in 1997. For 18 years, we gathered in fields and on mountaintops, we camped, we jammed, we danced to endless sets of amazing live music, and we experienced epic personal moments. We experimented, we made lifelong friends, and we came together as a family. It was a time when the hippy festival campout was the place we called home, we were All Good then. Thank you all, we are forever grateful. Tim Walther
We are All Good Now
We invite you to join us 10 years later as we bring the All Good family vibes, All Good music and All Good razzle dazzle to Merriweather. We have all grown; our lifestyles have changed but the spirt of the music and community have remained the same. We are hardworking, fast moving, and life living. We prefer our creature comforts and conveniences, and our concert experiences have evolved primarily from campouts to classic venues like the iconic Merriweather Post Pavilion. From camping to commuting, from a tent to a hotel room, from home and back. Let’s revel in the past and celebrate in the present. We are All Good Now.
MERRIWEATHER POST PAVILION
THE HISTORY, THE CULTURE, THE LOVE
Merriweather offers the perfect space for All Good Now, having hosted 150+ festivals from Dear Jerry, to Virgin Fest, to Outlaw Music Festival and many more. Set within the scenic Symphony Woods, Merriweather Post Pavilion has hosted the biggest names in live music, including Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Phish, and countless others. Known for its 40-acre natural oasis, Merriweather is a historic hub for music lovers, conveniently located between Baltimore and Washington, D.C., and offers one of the best festival environments in the country.
Among Merriweather renovations from 2017 are the SkyLawn consisting of two cozy, naturally grassy knolls overlooking the stage, 40 feet in the air! The new roof, raised by 20 feet, enhances views and acoustics from the lawn plus solar panels have been installed on the roof that power most of the stage and production. And The Chrysalis—an architectural marvel for a second stage located within Symphony Woods, will allow us to present our signature style programming with no overlapping sets. All Good Fans will enjoy unique offerings such as the Symphony Woods Shakedown, a historic pinball arcade, the Legends Sculpture Garden honoring artists like Willie Nelson, Miles Davis, and Tina Turner, and a walking tour celebrating the venue’s rich legacy.
Curated by our friends at I.M.P., Merriweather will deliver the signature warm atmosphere, kindness and hospitality that you enjoy with All Good Presents and at their other venues; The Anthem, 9:30 Club and The Atlantis.
